Romanian Foreign Ministry Warns Citizens about Visits to Ethiopia

The Romanian Foreign Ministry has warned Romanians to be careful when they visit Bulgaria, FOCUS News Agency learnt. The ministry’s website published a list of countries, where citizens should be very cautious. The countries are divided into two categories. The first category is marked with red. It includes 16 states. Some of them are – Iraq, Afghanistan, Colombia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Somalia, Sri Lanka and Thailand. The second category is marked with yellow. It includes Iran and Bulgaria.
The Romanian Foreign Ministry informs Romanian citizens that in accordance with Bulgaria’s regulations approved on January 1, 2006, foreign citizens on their entering Bulgaria should fill in a declaration about the aim of their visit and the address, where they will stay. The rule does not apply to persons, who transit the country within 24 hours.
Foreigners who plan to stay in the country for a longer period of time have to submit documents at the Migration Directorate of the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Bulgaria.More details can be received at the Bulgarian embassy in Bucharest.
